Thanks Petro And Leslie. I'll tinker with the settings a little more to see if I can diagnose the problem. But Replay Music still is my favorite program. I've spent many hours finding and saving music that couldn't otherwise be heard again. I use it a lot with you tube to convert audio to .MP3. Back in the days before version 3, I found a you tube clip of what a mother says in a 24 hour period. Replay Music saved and converted it in .MP3 with the title: Anita Renfrow-The Lactation Fairy Cometh. That's the kind of labeling I was talking about. I mean, who would have known that? 'hope I can get it up to speed again. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Petro T. The test computer I was using to test the Applian software died on me last week so I have no way to test until I get a new computer sometime in 2010 with Windows 7 operating system. --- On Sun, 8/30/09, Leslie Bee <leslie@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: Leslie Bee <leslie@xxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [blindreplay] Re: recognition problems in RM 2.51 > To: "blindreplay@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <blindreplay@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Sunday, August 30, 2009, 11:35 PM > Hey Petro - > I am passing this along to the RM developer. > He should see this. > Thanks > > ________________________________________ > From: blindreplay-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [blindreplay-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Bob Campbell [robert-c@xxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Sunday, August 30, 2009 4:50 PM > To: blindreplay@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [blindreplay] recognition problems in RM 2.51 > > Hi Petro. > I took a break from using Replay Music for a couple > of months. > Now that I am trying it again I find that RM 2.51 is not > recognizing and > not labeling any of the tracks it records. > It used to perform better than version 3 > with regards to finding artist > title and album information. > I reinstalled from the .exe file on my C drive. > Using the help you gave back in March of 09, > I shortened the splitting > time from 1500 > to 500 milliseconds. > This fixed the problem I had with it not seperating > tracks. > But it still seems to be unable to find > track info and labels everything > as not recognized. > Do you recall how it should be configured > to optomize recognition? > My audio is through the sound card. > This used to be a simple thing to use. > I remember when I could start RM, Go to Pandora Radio, and > listen while > Replay Music 2.51 would say, > "recording track" > and "processing track." > after which it would display multiple artist names, album > titles, etc. > > But Not now. > It seems not to be functioning as it used to > function. > One significant change to my system is the upgrade to Adobe > flash player 10. > I think I was using 9 before. > any suggestions? > Thanks, > Bob C. > > > > -- > To unsubscribe: e-mail blindreplay-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with unsubscribe in subject > To contact list owner: e-mail blindreplay-admins@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > -- > To unsubscribe: e-mail blindreplay-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with unsubscribe in subject > To contact list owner: e-mail blindreplay-admins@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > -- To unsubscribe: e-mail blindreplay-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with unsubscribe in subject To contact list owner: e-mail blindreplay-admins@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -- To unsubscribe: e-mail blindreplay-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with unsubscribe in subject To contact list owner: e-mail blindreplay-admins@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
