Hi, Thanks for the help. The cable is connected properly, the cable definitely works as I'm now recording using the cable on to a separate external device.

I can't try a different cable as I don't have one that's long enough.

I didn't really understand your last suggestion, but I've rebooted several times and its not made any difference.

Any other ideas?
Cheers
Yusuf

Double check the cable connection cable. Try a different cable. Make sure its not loose even though you are hearing the sound through your speakers. Temporarily turn off your screen reader speech and run it again by either rebooting your PC or doing the hotkey keyboard command. I use ctrl alt J with JAWS.

Subject: [blindreplay] no sound when recording from line in

Hi, I've been using Replay Av successfully for some time to record TV
programs through my line in on my computer. Tonight for some reason no sound was recorded. I've tried a couple of tests since then and am still getting
no sound. I've uninstalled and re-installed and am still having the same
problem. When I uninstalled I used Revo Uninstaller in order to make sure I
got everything out.

When I was recording I did the following:
1. Selected record from the main window in Replay Av.
2. Selected Record something right now.
3. Record from the line in - input.
4. Gave the recording a name, put 0 in the hours edit box and 33 minutes in
the minutes edit box.
5. Pressed enter on the ok button.

I don't make any other changes and up until tonight everything was working
fine.

I know the sound is coming through fine because I can hear it through my computer speakers, when the line in is unmuted.

Any ideas?
Cheers
Yusuf
