Petro, I have the recording set to MP3, the top one in the list in the basic tab. I am using real audio and have no experience with the real alternative program. These settings were gathered years ago and I've just left them. I am using RAV 8.52. I guess I haven't tried recording to streams because I've felt no prior reason to change. All had been working well as it is. I appreciate the offer to record the shows for me, but that is completely unnecessary. My initial post was aimed at finding if anyone has had similar experiences. I am still interested in learning that, so if you have the chance to record about 10 minutes of one show or the other, and can listen to see if the recording has any distortion, that would be sufficient. My thought is that the problem is either with the station's stream or with a setting on my computer. I doubt the problem is with RAV itself. The irony that interests me is that I can listen to the stations and not hear the distortion as they are being recorded, but the recording has the distortion. I am listening through the replay tuner as the recording is being made. Ron Denis
