[blindreplay] Re: capture stream or not

I thought I had recorded a stream I found using the url finder. I tested it
and even got a note that it was recording. I then scheduled a recording of
this stream for the next time while I was out.

The next day I found no recordings, only the text file which seemed to
indicate that a recording had been made. That text showed the recording had
been made when I first tried to test the stream. I had used the stream
capture method. I

In looking at the url I didn't see any extension to the attempted
recording; but I know the site uses Windows Media Player because it always
launches when I hear the live stream. The url located by Replay A/V ends
with an extension of asf.asf.

Also, I cannot find the place to specify the recording format. Is this
available only in the audio output mode?

A slight aside: WMKV's stream has done very well with the capture method I
hae used to record two streams so far, so the problems I have previously had
must be due to Net traffic.
Thanks.

Pam

I took a look at the CJOB site. I did not register but it seemed to me the
shows that available for the past 60 days use WMP player and can only be
listened to online - over your speakers.
The URL finder could reveal the actual stream URLs for each show allowing
you to record it on a daily basis with REplay AV. Not sure. I get the Get
Connected show already through CKNW and the full 2 hours of the show. CJOB
only carries 1 hour of this tech show.

How many hours is CJOB time difference from EAstern USA? 2
hours?
