Keyboard shortcuts have been included and tested here.
alt+s to start monitoring / start recording
alt+x to stop monitoring / stop recording
You will continue to hear the start and stop sound you've always have heard
except in one situation.
When you do a library tab and then record audio situation. The start recording
and stop recording buttons do toggle to the current status but when I press
alt+s the start sound is not heard and pressing alt+x doesn't present the stop
sound but the actual physical buttons that read as start recording and stop
recording to toggle / change correctly. Simply press shift tab or tab to move
away from the button and go back to the button and you will hear the correct
status.
This is beta.
