Kelly
As you already know using a second sound card is going to help tremendously.
I use an external USB sound card here. JAWS uses the built-in sound card
that is in the computer while everything else uses the USB sound card like
youtube or from a media player like Windows Media Player / Winamp.

Jeff,

Thank you for this action. with this new computer, I am only using
one sound card. I plan to install a second, so I can control the
volume and pre-amps for both separately. When I use the Internet
recording option, the audio plays through the speakers along with the
speech. Sometimes the audio from Youtube is louder than the speech
synthesis. Until this situation is remedied with a second sound card,
I prefer to download the videos through the guide as this does not
play audio through the speakers.
