Which screen reader do you use? I have been pleased with recent updates to JAWS 10. JAWS now supports a second sound card that can be easily configured in JAWS. With a $10 pair of used speakers, I am able to record anything coming out of my speakers for which a URL cannot be captured. The screen reader does not interfere. Windows and system sounds are still captured, but these can be silenced. I have successfully recorded many things from the speaker capture method that I otherwise would not have been able to record just trying to capture the stream alone. The sound quality is quite good, particular when recording spoken voice.

These shows were recording properly on my primarybox.----- Original Message ----- From: "PamDrake" <pamdrake@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <blindreplay@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, July 30, 2009 12:02 AM Subject: [blindreplay] Re: No RecordingsHap, Could this perhaps be a Clear Channel stream you're trying to capture? Some of these just won't record, no matter what Replay reports. Must be thecoding because this problem has been discussed several times here. Thereis a stream I'd like to record but it doesn't work even though Replay shows itin the log. It seems as though Clear Channel had a particular format for its streams which worked for a while until they changed a few months ago. They seem to do this periodically. <sigh> Pam--To unsubscribe: e-mail blindreplay-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with unsubscribe in subject To contact list owner: e-mail blindreplay-admins@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
