Thanks for the suggestion. I fixed the problem permanently. First, I created a custom JAWS configuration for Replay A/V by pressing insert 6 inside Replay A/v. This brought up the JAWS configuration manager. I then went to settings and then to the selection "graphics and symbols" in this menu. On this property sheet, I found the dialogue you described, one called graphics verbosity. I changed the selection from all to none, pressed ok inside the property sheet, saved the configuration, and presto: no annoying graphic numbers. The change is permanent as JAWS has been customized to always work this way with Replay A/v. Petro, thanks for all your help with this.

Using Replay AV 8.14 with JAWS 8 screen reader you can temporarily eliminate the announcement of the graphic numbers you hear that preced a show or station name in the list view by: Run Replay AV 8. Press insert+v. Press "g" until you hear graphics verbocity. Press your space bar until you hear "none". Press your tab key until you hear the close button and prss space bar on close button. Go to the list view of shows and arrow up and down the list and you will notice the graphics number announcement by JAWS is no longer there. If you close RAV 8 and go back into RAV 8 you must repeat the above to not hear the graphics numbers. --To unsubscribe: e-mail blindreplay-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with unsubscribe in subject To contact list owner: e-mail blindreplay-admins@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
