Here is another enhancement I'd like incorporated into RAV.

The ctrl+1 through ctrl+9 allows one to use RAV sort of like one does with
the presets on a car radio.
And with the shift+uparrow, one can quickly move any station or show to
the 1 through 9 slots in a matter of seconds even if that item happens to
be currently number 100.
What would be handy is the ability to instantaneously get to any station,
regardless of position, with some sort of expanded ctrl+# ability.
Of course, and perhaps some on this list aren't aware of this, one can
quickly move to an item by typing the first few letters/characters of a
show name; hence, I code my names to make this easy.
Below are some examples to give folks ideas as to how they can begin their
naming of files:

hw for Wall Street Journal this morning on WBOB Jacksonville
ssox for Sox Weekly on WSCR Chicago
hj1 for Stocks and Jocks on WSCR
3b for Chicago Bulls basketball broadcasts
px for WXPR Rhinelander, WI and the sat morning polka show
wwn for Website Wednesday night on WGN Chicago

Sometimes, as the examples above illustrate, the first letter/number is
for a category distinction -- h for business/finance, s for sports, G for
God (religious programs/stations), p for polka, etc.

Perhaps, for some, this may be a bit of overkill; but it illustrates just
how much one can do with RAV both for recording and listening purposes.
