No, it doesn't. The only time I am absolutely sure that it is updating is when
I go to eject the Ipod. It tells me that Itunes is updating the Ipod. Otherwise
I'd have no idea. I've come to "Trust," that it is doing it. Is their another
way to be sure? It's kind of frustrating. Thanks.

  Hi

Just stay focused upon iTunes. Does it eventually tell you that the iPod
update is complete?

  Thanks.

I am having an interesting issue with Itunes. When I hit Grav in order to
find out whether or not the Ipod is updating, I always get a message that says
that the update information can not be found. I can still update the Ipod with
everything I download into Itunes, but can not see the info when I hit the grav
key. Any ideas? Thanks.
