Hi Merrill,

I have a Zenstone, and was told when you press the button in the middle of 
the circle, hold it down for a few seconds and then release it, but more 
importantly when pressed, you must wait for about twenty to thirty seconds 
before it plays.  I think this is because it is searching for the point 
where you last left playing it.  I believe this is my only fault that i can 
give it.  Press the upper rim of the circle to increase volume, and lower 
rinm of the circle to decrease volume.  Pressing the right side of the rim 
moves to the next music track or book etc. and pressing the left side of the 
rim goes back a track or book etc.  Pressing the middle button of the circle 
during play pauses it, pressing it again restarts playback.
