Hi, I also have never used said scripts. Believe it or not, I'm still using Sound Forge 5. I would like to know about the new things on sound Forge 7 and 8? Thanks!
The material currently available applies to older versions of Sound Forge (with 4.5 being the version of focus for the Freedom Scientific tutorial). The FS tutorial also isn't script-specific. I don't know anything about Brian's, so I could not honestly comment about that particular resource. I'd appreciate such a presentation, since I've never used Jim's Sound Forge scripts.

Does anyone know if this is still available? Perhaps I need not recreate the wheel, although there are a few things that have changed in later versions of Sound Forge, so I will probably do a short intro and then we can see if there is anything else available. If we find that they are dated, I will continue.

Also, Brian Hartgen produced an excellent Sound Forge tutorial at aboutfeatures
the same time as the FS tutorial. It covers version 5.0. Brianboth JAWS and Window eyes in the tutorial. I assume FS features only their screen reader.covering

Several years back, probably 4 years ago, a tutorial was made by Freedom
Scientific covering SoundForge. I realize that the tutorial wasversion 5.0 of the software and an older version of Jaws. But, it was
very good, and did a very nice job of teaching the basics. You mightwantto contact them at 800-444-4443 and see if you can still buy it fromthem.knowing
I use SoundForge on a regular basis, and have been using it ever since version 4.5. But, I don't consider myself to be all that great athow to use a lot of its' features. Every once in awhile I run intosomefeature that has been there for years, and I finally discover what itdoesnot toand why I might want to use that feature or not use that feature..
If someone here can't help you send me a private email and I will forward
it to a friend of mine who may be able to help you. I would prefermention his name here since there are probably a lot of folks here who
Iwould know him, and I wouldn't want him to get buried in emails.
