Was this a Blind Cool Tech cast or your own. I am running a bit behind on
all of mine but am curious.

Actually, I was just trying to work it into another podcast. We'll see how

I think a subway cast would be really neat; It would sure be Noisy!

Hi Mary,
Glad you enjoyed the walk-cast. Today, even I thought to myself how noisy
it is here.
Actually, certain parts of the city really don't sleep but, unbelievably, it
does settle down on the weekends.
I have some recordings of myself maneuvering through our subway system, but
that's for another podcast, I think--if it all. I might have thrown some
listeners into shock with this one. <grin>

Larry and Lynnette,

That Manhattan walk was amazing! I couldn't believe how the traffic sound is
continuous. As Larry said, it makes the rest of us look like we're living in
the country! There is a continuous constant rumble sound; no pauses at all.
Is that from the subways? Is it ever quiet at night or does this noise go on
24 hours a day 7 days a week? Anybody venturing out in that is extremely
