see the weird thing is after checking advanced, and then going in to
properties for playback, it doesn't have Microphone. it has volume
  cd player
  sw sinth
  pc speaker
  and wave.

Under recording it has stereo mixer
and microphone, but I can't hear them both at the same time.

    Hi Darren,
The playback Mike control is probably not selected in your Windows volume
control list.
You need to hit alt then down to advanced controls and hit enter.
Then arrow down to Microphone and check it.
Then exit the menu and now the microphone playback should be in the list to
mute or turn on.

    Hope this helps.
    Phil

      Hi all.

I can record from my mike and from the computer separately, but if the
stereo mix option is suppose to work like the what you hear, it doesn't! I
can't hear my mike through the headphones, and It's not being recorded through
gold wave. There is no mute option for the mike and I have mike boost turned on.

Anyone got any other ideas as to how I can record my computer audio and
voice at the same time?
