On the subject of portable screen access, let me highly recommend Freedom box. It is a screen reader and a web browser built on the Mozilla platform that is available either on a thumb drive or a cd rom that runs on any computer. There is no need to install authorizations or video drivers and no need to access system admin rights. I have Jaws and Freedom Box and I prefer to use freedom box over jaws. check it out at
