.Riz, I use Winamp all the time. The pitch problem is probably the fault of the 
DS2's recording circuitry, since Hope says she experiences the same thing. I 
haven't used the WS320 enough to know if it occurs on that device also. I 
suppose to avoid it I will just have to stop using the pause function and just 
close the file, and open another one to record another segment.
