I haven't had any of those problems.  I suppose its best to just go by 
opinions and make up your own minds.  Maybe I'll try it sometime to see how 
it does.

While I'm not an AVG user myself, I've read many reviews that suggest that
AVG isn't as good as others like Nod at disabling all viruses. I've also
heard that updating is a bit slow. When I tried using it, I had a miserable
time getting it to run well with Outlook Express.
