[bct] Re: movies and other things

Isn't this based on a book by Jean Shepherd? The name eludes me at the
moment but, it seems I have read the book not all that long ago.

Mary, lol, me too. I also like the part where Flick sticks his tongue on
the frozen flag pole. I find the most poignant moments to be where Ralphy
learns his lesson in commercialism with his Little Orphan Annie decoder ring

and when he becomes like his dad, beating up the town bully. Of course, my
very favorite moment is when Ralphy gets his BB. gun from his Father after
he has given up on it as the gift he wanted so much. The whole movie is
great and I am glad they show it for 24 hours on TNT. Rejenia and I just
let it play in the background of our Christmas day. We never see all of it
in any one sitting, it's just there for us to enjoy our favorite seens as
they appear.
