Hi Maria,

I have that--sound reflection detection or whatever it's called. From
the people that I know who have it, it's usually congenitally blind
people. Friends of mine who have had sight and lost it can't detect
objects by sound. In a way it isn't a stereotype that people who are
blind have more acute hearing, etc., because as someone stated in an
earlier message, the neurons that would have been used for vision are
mapped differently to aid in other senses instead.
