Good point, But as I've said before, win key d and win key m both take
you to the desktop and one says folder listview, and the other says
listview. hmmm.

It's a window class issue.  there is a difference in a folder view list
view, and a list view.  A list view is nothing more than items
virtically on the screen where as a folder view list view, is a list
view where the items can be arranged either virtically or
horizontal/virtically.  In other words your desktop would be a folder
view list view as you can get items both going virtically or
horizontally, or even both.
