Congrats, Lisa! Hope the job goes really well.

Woud you consider a braille for beginners type of podcast? The sort of thing I have in mind is spelling out what's involved in learning Braille, wht equipment to use and what the advantages are once you can use braille?

I don['t know the first thing about brille, but the appeal of reading a book privately again is pretty strongtg! So is being able to label which jar has the chili powder in it!

Subject: [bct] found new job as braille proofreader in cincinnati, ohio.

Hi Blind Cool Tech listers,

I am happy to report that I have recently found a job as Braille Proofreader
in Cincinnati, Ohio. I will be starting sometime in June 2006. I am in the
process of locating a new home for the web site listed below my signature,
new email address, new apartment, and getting everything ready for moving in
a new city and state.
Please check my web site before it goes down.
As soon as I can locate a server to put it on permanently, I will let
everyone know what it is. My future plan is to focus on a series of podcasts
to educate the general public about braille. I hope to be doing some
interviews with braille transcribers, braille proofreaders and braille
producers around the country. Talk to everyone soon.
