I hope you will get a lot of enjoyment from your DS2. I love mine for just grabbing and recording. Remember, though, that the batteries will drain even when the machine isn't being used and when it's in hold status. I always take the batteries out after each use so they will last. I had a few experiences of not using the machine for a week, then getting ready to record and finding the batteries were dead.
