Actually, I would agree with you intellectually, but I have spent the last 20 minutes combining all kinds of MP3 files with the DOS commands and none of them have had a problem. I am sure there are some that won't work, but I haven't figured out what the limitations are yet. Any clues? You might get lucky and it may work for certain files but it is incorrect because each mp3 file has header information that comes before the data.
