The Sandisk is much like a CD player.  If you tap the rewind button
once, it goes back to the previous track.  If you hold it down, it scans
back through the file, not in junks but continuously.  The only thing is
that, for some reason, in audible.com books, this rewind is silent.
Unlike in MP3 files, you can not hear the sound as you scan back.  When
you pick up your finger the book begins to play from that point.

How blind-friendly is it?

My dissatisfaction with the Muvo is the navigation within a file.  In
big 
files, you can move forward or back, but only by big chunks of
information. 
If I just wanted to repeat the last sentence, there's no way to do that.
