Joni and Neal,

I don't like the human-sounding speech either; everything gets chopped up too much. Eloquence is still my preference, and Reed at about 64 percent is just the right pitch and tone. I prefer speech at normal rate also; I do speed up cassette talking books because although the pitch gets higher, the sound is still smooth. I don't speed them up too much though.
