Hi Debee

You may want to give MP3 Direct Cut a try. It's a simple editor that records
directly to MP3. So, there is no need to uncompress/recompress files. I'm
not sure if it will work with VBR files though and I don't have the URL for
the program either. I can look for it when I get home.
