MessageYou could also set your screen echo to say all, and up and down arrow.
That will reed back your file extensions or your bit rates.
Well, I know it works in JAWS.
Don't know about window eyes?

Rick, Do you hear any file extensions read? If you hear some and not others,
then we have a different problem to solve, and there is a way, but let us know
whether or not you can get any file extensions read of you can't hear any at
all.

  Neal

Actually, you should go to control panel or windows explorer and pull
down the tools menu. Go to the menu items folder options and go to the second
tab control named view. Tab a couple of times to a list of settings and use
your spacebar to turn off the item that says hide file extentions.

Kerri, You have to go in to my computer or windows explorer, go to the
tools menu, then go to the view tab. If you tab a few times, you should be in
a list of things you can either check or uncheck. There should be one about
show file extensions. I would be more specific, but I don't know witch version
of Windows you aare using. Let me know if you need more help.

Hi all, quick question. How do you get Jaws to read a file extention
in my Documents? I just converted one of my .wav files to mp3 and I want to be
able to read the file extention so I'll know which one to delete. Thanks in
advance, Kerri
