The advantage of using feedburner is that the feedburner address remains the same, but within feedburner, you can change the pointer from, for example, ourmedia to libsyn if you change services; the advantage is for the subscriber; nothing needs to be changed for subscribers, but the person setting it up would just change the pointer in feedburner. If I didn't use feedburner then everybody would have to change their podcatcher software to point to the new feeed. Some of the real popular podcasts like the ones from commercial radio would have a problem getting the word out to their thousands of listeners. It's like when you move across town but can keep your phone number the same; in contrast, you have to tell everybody you know about your new address.
