Hi Jamie,

Thanks for the info. Is that any better than the ones that come with the sound
cards? Mine is from a old Creative SB card.

I purchased a $16 Logitech mic from Wal-Mart. It works pretty well.

  Hi all,

I use Total Recorder Standerd and a cheap $9 microphone to make voice
recordings and did a submission for BCT. The problem is that on the playback
the high end of the sound kind of sounds odd. My question is, what microphone
would you sugguest for use? I don't want to spend $100 but would be willing to
spend maybe up to $50 for a decient mic.
