Is live something just anyone can try? Would it work with Jaws 6.2?

hi folks.
Wow, my first message on the list and I'm jumpin' right in lol! Ok y'all, here's the real deal about Messenger plus. It is actually quite accessible, I've been using it for years.
Now here's the important part though. When you install it, do. not. install. the. sponsor. program.
The newer versions make it very clear that you have the option to not do this, and if you avoid the sponsor program, you will be just fine.
The program adds a plus! menu to your menu bar and allows you to do some fun things like send emotion sounds to your other contacts, note they must also be using plus! or it won't work. You can also assign sounds for specific contacts to alert you when certain people are online, when they change their status, or when they go offline. It has lots of other features and abilities, much to nemerous to list here.
Another note about it is that if you're using JAWS 7, you're going to want to go into the options of the program and uncheck the box that says, inhanse the toolbar with messenger plus! Features. For some strange reason, if you leave that box checked, it can really mess things up and make your messages appear blank when they really aren't. Also if you're running the new Windows Live Messenger beta as I am, you will not be able to use Messenger plus! Until the program is actually released and the author can release a new version for it. You can go to
http://www.msgplus.net
and try it. It's completely free. and remember, don't install the sponsor program! You may have to use your JAWS or window-eyes cursor to check the appropriate radio button in the instalation, but the button you're looking for says, no thanks, don't install the sponsor program. That way you'll know it really isn't being installed.
Sorry for such a long note as my first post, but I just had to dispell the rumors going on about plus! here.

Thanks.

goodluck wwith it then, I had heard that it wasn't overly accessible either. I used it once when I was still sighted. It took over my IE and was a bit difficult to get back off the pc totaly when I had enough of its games.

Howdy Rick,
You have the option to install there software. I chose not to. I didn't find the program accessible anyway. I still plan to run Addaware just to be sure. Take care and God bless.Lino Morales and Louie Lab email and Messenger

hi,

I don't think you want to use that program, it is known spyware.
