I have discovered that if you want a considerable amount of long distance time,
a flat rate works best economically. Currently I use AT&T and get unlimited
time anywhere in the US and territories for $29.95 plus taxes and other
extraneous costs they find. Totals just over $35. I have three friends with
whom I talk frequently and long. So it pays off. You don't have to have your
local service with AT&T to use their long distance service.
