Actually Dan, if we are going to lower ourselves to go down that road,
I'm right with you.  I may, however, prefer a Gigadrink Microphone, thus
creating a new and very important word in the English language.

What, my speller could not find gigadrink?  How terrible.

Well, microphones are used in live performances often called gigs, and
if a 
gig were an eating contest, there could be a gigabite, and if you were 
using a microphone at the same time and you could take more bites during

the gig, the microphone could have more gigabytes.
