    Hi All

Well, I've been away from BCT land for absolutely ages. Until last week, I
was about three months behind with podcasts. I'm only a month behind now, but
wow, don't you all produce a lot of audio (smile)! Anyway, I just wanted to
let you all know how much I am still enjoying the podcasts. There has been
some phenomenal material contributed by so many people, I just don't have the
time to mention and thank you all by name. Just let me say a huge thank you to
all of you for making BCT such a wonderful podcast. I learn so much from many
of the contributions, and really feel like I know many of you as friends even
though we haven't met.

Last night I put in a very brief appearance in the chat room and was
totally astonished to find that I could get my microphone to work. I will
certainly return there when I have some more time. Thanks to Robert Carter for
making the chat room possible and to all of you for making it such a friendly
place to hang out. I still find the chat software a bit confusing, so if I
sound vague, or if I make mistakes at first please forgive me. I'll get used
to it in the end.

I have loads of sound seeing items I want to share when I can find the time
to edit them. My family and I went on a canal boat holiday a few weeks ago and
I would love to share extracts of this as a podcast. As soon as I can I will
edit it into a suitable podcast and submit it.

I'm really glad we got rid of the nuissance. I got some pretty sick
messages from him, and had seriously thought about not submitting material
involving my kids. Anyway, I have decided that we shouldn't let a few sick
people spoil our fun, so you will be hearing more from me.

I still can't send mail to the list because of my ISP, talktalk broadband
in the UK. I am now investigating other ISPs over here, and once I have a new
ISP I will rejoin the list. Until then, Joseli has kindly offered to forward
messages for me, and indeed, she has kept me up to date with the problems on
the list etc. so my thanks go to Joseli for her kind help without which I would
be totally unable to contact the list.

As I am not on the list, if anyone wishes to contact me, my email address is

    donna.slater@xxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks again for all the great podcasts, and thanks to Larry and the other
volunteers who are making BCT possible.

    Best wishes to everyone

    Donna
