There should be a USB cable in the box, it is probably under all that cardboard
down there with the CD.

The transfer tool won't let you move files, but you can just use Windows
Explorer to cut and paste them onto the Book Port. That's the way I do it, and
I like it, because it cuts down on the number of steps you need to worry about
to manage what can get to be huge amounts of data. Now, if we just had a Book
Port with bluetooth so you could have a process at night or something to move
regularly scheduled content from your PC to Book Port without you having to
mess with it.

Subject: [bct] Book port arrived, and already a few questions

My bookport arrived today--love it, and i have a few questions. First, do
they not include the USB cable? I found one I can use, but surprised it wasn't
Now, one quick suggestion, if it's not already there and I just don't know
it. When I listen to podcasts, I like to go ahead and move the file onto the
player instead of just copying it so I don't wind up with so many files AI have
to clean up. Is there a way to actually move the file to the player instead of
simply a copy? Thanks, I'm sure I'll have other questions soon.
