Good lord ... only ten hours?!? I get at least twice that, and more if I use a mixture of MP3 and Double-talk (podcasts and printed works). Might want to switch battery brands or something...?

Hum, I have not experienced incredible battery life in my bookport, unless incredible is the number of double A batteries I must use to keep it singing. I get maybe 10 hours out of a pair of batteries, more often, about 7 hours. Despite the superb mp3 renditions it produces, I can no longer afford the batteries, just too much and too much bother to change them every day or so.
