The DS2 beeps by default when you push record or activate some other
functions such as pause from within record. So no adjustments are needed to
adjust the beeps since they are already on.

I have all the menu settings and descriptions of how to use them written
down and can send them off-list if you want. It is all very blind-friendly
and the menus always start at the first menu item, and if you count
correcdtly, everything is accessible although the first few menu items are
most likely the only ones you'll need since some items are visual.

The USB cable comes with the unit, but you can order extra ones from
http://www.olympusamerica.com. You can also get their microphones, both
stereo and monaural, from that site.
