Have you checked www.blindhow.com? I think there's a daily living
section with articles and how-tos there.
There's a small section on cooking in the downloadable book If
Blindness Comes, from www.nfb.org.
There's a book called Cooking With Feeling that comes as a
downloadable .brf file and costs $9 or so from www.nbp.org--look in
their bookstore. The book has a two-volume section covering
techniques.
And there's _this list ... great bunch of people who are patient,
friendly, and willing to answer newbie questions without giving the
asker that why-don't-you-know-this-already,-what's-wrong-with-you
look, and who've inspired me to try new things and move forward to be
not so fearless in the kitchen.
