Cardinals baseball game, and Keith tells about some broadcasting woes. Not to
mention an unexpected solution to them. Finally a new baby has entered the
world, and is doing well.

bible." In short, how archaeologists have once again proved that events,
places, and people in the bible are real. Good king, Hezakiah, tore down pagan

Next up, Nathan shares a confusing article on conflicting beliefs that
Christians in America hold. The survey that reveals the fuzzy faith is
"AMERICANS LOVE GOD AND THE BIBLE, but ARE FUZZY ON THE DETAILS." This finding,
found on Lifeway.com <http://lifeway.com/>, tells the sad truth that Americans
don’t know much about theology. Most say God wrote the Bible. But they’re not
sure everything in it is true. Who goes to heaven? What does it take to get to
heaven? Sadly, Christians are conflicted, and don't seem to be concerned about

To wrap up the importance of using sound logic to prove out beliefs, and not
blindly trusting matters to others, Keith shares a few bullet points as found
at Stand to Reason. These are taken from notes, and not directly from the web
site.
If I place eyeglasses on a chair. You see them. Do you believe they're there?
I remove the eyeglasses. You see they're gone. Do you believe they're not there?
Thus, Belief is from evidence, not choice.
Belief isn't lost, but rejected.
Teaching in the family environment can fade.
A new environment can replace mom and dad "say so" with conflicting belief.
Yet further environmental change introduces beliefs that hitch hikes on the
culture around us, but can also fade with new environments.
What to do?
When there's no reason to believe, there will be a lack of belief.
Belief built on traditions and blind faith will cause drift away to agnostic
world views.
Solution.
It's OK to tear down what you know, doubt, ask questions. l
Rebuild beliefs based on sound logic, and testing it out.
Keep seeking truth to hard questions.
To put a final wrap to the show, Chris stumps us with sports trivia. Of origial
teams in baseball, basketball, and football, which are still playing today?
