It doesn't subscribe you automatically unless you press enter on it. As for the tree views, that's just the way they always have been. I quit using the directory for that reason.

Hi,
    Thanks for your reply. I was able to delete three podcasts apparently
that i had subscribed to. When i went to view and podcast directory, that's where things get weird, it opens subtrees if i stay on them long enough to
hear what they are and i'm not sure if it subscribes me automatically. Is
this so? And how do i download other podcasts?
