Amen, Amen! I, like Allison, will consider a Mac when it meets my
particular needs. Just because it meets yours and not mine doesn't
mean I'm hating on it, relax for Christ's sake Gabriel.

What I got from Allison's message is that as of right now VoiceOver and it's current application support just doesn't meet her needs. However, if it does in the future she will consider getting a Mac. How is that rude? If it meets all of your needs then that's great. But why would she or I buy something that "might" sometime in the future meet my needs/wants?
Can I say that the windows screen readers are perfect? Of course not. Can you say that about VoiceOver? I enjoy having a variety of options in the software I use that allow me to do the things I want and need to do. And JFW/WE allow me to do this. I think that VoiceOver is a great first step in making Macs truly accessible. However, it won't be until VoiceOver gives me the same level/type of application support that I will consider it a viable option to my windows based computer.
