I also found my k7 number gone as well!  It is now with another podcast.

The key issue involves listeners who may listen to older podcasts with the
old number.

I just believe that if it is told not only during the sign up process, but
on the homepage and the terms of use that it gives no one the right to
complain just out of cconvinients.
