I also caution too many categories in the beginning, I actually think sports might just do it as Jeff has already provided for.

On the sports category, why not wait until podcasts relating to these sports exist. Otherwise we will have a bunch of empty categories.
All these categories can be added once they become necessary.

Another idea under sports might be "wheelchair basketball" and "wheelchair
racing".  I know, for a fact, that there is considerable interest in and
probably at least one or two podcasts on, both of these categories in the
disability community.
