*Windows 7 ready for beta* <> Yesterday, Microsoft announced a beta version of Windows 7. It will be available for download tomorrow. CEO Steve Ballmer promised Windows 7 would make computers faster and easier to use.

*Car receiver picks up TV broadcasts* <> Audiovox has announced an in-car receiver for mobile TV broadcasts. It will require a subscription through Qualcomm’s MediaFLO. The service was previously only available on some phones.

*Abducted girl found, thanks to Google* <> Police used Google Street View to find an abducted girl. They were able to obtain coordinates of the girl’s phone. Street View let them see the area. They deduced that she was in a hotel.
