[blind-chess] Re: Spring-Summer Tournament

Yes Richard, I agree with Stan. Theme Tournaments are always good.

Richard, I find the theme tournaments make us play openings we might not
otherwise play. For this
reason I would slightly favour a theme tournament but I will be happy with
anything as long as it is
proper chess.

  Hello Players,

The last round of the Fall-Winter Tournament will begin March 1, so we should
be thinking about a
tournament starting around April 1.

If someone would like to organize a tournament of their own design, please
contact the list. I
will help with deciding pairings and I will keep the standings and so on as
usual. But the
tournament design would be up to the tournament designer. Anything goes as
long as anyone can play.

Otherwise I am considering either a theme tournament featuring the Caro-Kan
opening:
  1. e4 c6
  2. *

   or just a plain tournament.

So if you want to design and organize a tournament let the group know.

  Richard
