```Hi Richard and all,
Well, what an interesting playing field!
If I was white, I really would not like those two knights being so close to my
majesty!
But white also has some good pieces set up.
The pawn on f6, the knight on c1 with its trail wide open all the way to h6.
If white could connect his queen with the white bishop on c1, then white could
easily end the game using the pawn on f6.
After looking at the playing field, and since black is threatening my queen, I
must address that issue.
Either I have to move my queen, or take his knight.
If I move my queen, because of those knights, I am limited to four places:
G1, g2, e2, and c2.
Qc2 was a possibility I considered, but I decided to do this instead!
1. Rxe4 Rxe4
2. Ng5...
This move does go against the norm because you are trading a rook for a knight.
But to me, it dramatically helps whites position.
Now, by moving whites knight to g5, you are threatening the rook on e4.
And it also protects squares f7 and h7.
My goal is to get whites queen to f4 which would connect it with its bishop on
c1.
Chris
