[blind-chess] Re: A proposal,modified

One small question: if one player is N.N. and the other is named, what prevents
the named player from telling people who that N.N player was? Honor system?

Subject: [blind-chess] A proposal,modified

Given due consideration to all the ideas expressed, here is a modified
proposal that may be easier to consider:

1. All tournament games will be posted, with annotations to the extent
possible.

2. No "friendly" games will be posted, unless one of the players
specifically requests it.

3. Players real names will be included UNLESS one or both players request
otherwise.

4. Any player who does not want his or her name to appear in posted games
will need to "register" that request. Once registered as a "don't Use My
Name" player, any game where that player took part will have that player's
name read "N.N.". If both players have registered for DUMN, both names in
the game will appear as "N.N.".

5. If at a later date a DUMN player changes his or her mind, just
un-register.

6. to register for DUMN, just send an email to Richard and "cc" to whoever
is coordinating the games, clearly stating your request not to have your
name mentioned in game reports.

Are we in agreement?

Rod
