Yes Elizabeth, we did meet at the CSUN conference in Los Angeles 2 years ago.
Unfortunately I don't have a lot of tact, so I usually ask Claire to look at my
emails to Bookshare members. She's much more tactful than I am.

[I was usually not allowed to meet customers when I was a software engineer.
I'd tell them the bald truth, which of course managers hated. They wanted to
tell customers a 'simplified' version, which was way different from mine. But I
didn't want to meet customers anyway, I'd rather play with the code. Obviously
I'm a very detail-oriented person, which is oh-so-helpful when processing books
for Bookshare.]

Hello
Carrie.
I
remember
meeting
you

correct
in
saying

it
takes
a
certain
type

bookshare.
You
have
too
much
tact
and
charm
to
be
deranged.

from
another
single
woman,
