And what about all the books they don't proofread, shouldn't they all be put back to step one so someone who actually reads them can do their job?

Surely there are enough intelligent people on staff who approve books who may notice the same people each proofing say four books a day. Even assuming these folks are doing short books staff really ought to be able to catch this kind of thing easily and we need action here from Pavi, Carrie or whoever on staff can squelch this sloppy proofing.E. If several people are doing this, then that could add up to a lot of books per day that get taken and sent up to the admin queue. And that, of course, assumes that this hypothetical person only does five books per day. If they wanted to, they could turn over quite a few more books than that.Evan ----- Original Message ----- From: "E." <thoth93@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, March 21, 2009 1:36 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: where are all the submitsSince they can each only take five books, this still means very few fiction books are on the check in books list Roger. At 01:11 PM 3/21/2009, you wrote:Nicholas Wilcox and Julie Barrett got them all."Philosophers have merely interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it."
