Hi Gerald, Do you suppose the Admin Q will ever be emptied? I haven't
submitted any in a long time, because I just don't see any sence to it if
the Q can't be emptied, just no sence at all! Tom

No, but I've asked for more sorting and filtering capabilities for Step 1
along with a numbr of other improvements, including adding of Jakes's
links
for browsing new books using Advanced Search to the Bookshare website so
everyone can use them and the automation of Marissa's List.
Speaking of Marissa's List, did anyone notice that Jake put the lists in a
list form instead of simply a long colection of paragraphs? Now, JAWS
will
tell you how many items are in each list, so there's no need for counting,
and I would guess that Window Eyes should as well.
For Cindy, Carrie, and other volunteers who can't take advantage of having
speech software tell you the number of items, here are the numbers:
434 books on Step 1
195 books out for validation
31 books in admin queue
35 books in rejection queue
for a total of 695 in processing
Gerald

Is there a way to get the step 1 listing by date submitted oldest
first? Is there a way of getting a listing of all books on step 1 which
have a less than excellent rating? Both searches may be useful for those
of us attempting to shrink step 1 list. Thanks.
