Hi Cindy!
I have not even checked for names. I still can't get my computer to read the
steps in validating which comes up every time I download a book. I am knew
at this and not gifted in the use of computers. I will try to reject this
book and get it from the library and do a rescan.
LOL

Hope,
I chuckled when I read the part of your post that I've saved below. That suggestion has been made before by frustrated valdiators, especially because there's one person in particular who, at least before, was throwing up very poor scans. It has been suggested that her scans be rejected automatically and/or that she be told not to submit any more. I don't know what has happened, or whether she is still submitting. I have downloaded a number of her scans to correct, for which I can obtain the books, and one of her friends who is also a very careful validator seems to be doing that also. If I am enjoying the book, I will take the time to fix it. They are, so far, books that are worthwhile having in the collection for other people to enjoy. So far I've rejected one that was not only really bad but that was long and that I wasn't enjoying. The one I finished and the one I'm working on are fine in some places and really chopped up in others. (I wonder, from your description, if your book was submitted by the same person -- but no names here, please).

-. Is there a wayto disallow people who do a poor job from scanning? It eats up peoples time if they are serious about validating. I for one will not submit a scan until I ensure it is correct. It would be better for people to submit 1 excellent scan then 10 fair scans. Have a nice day.
